Hokokai
Originating from the Japanese colonial days in Indonesia, reminds us of a canvas with each field filled with different ornaments. Usually, the patterns were dominated by bright colors with Sakura, lotus, lily, or orchid flower motives. The creators of this design said they introduced Batik Hokokai as a sign or a symbol of adjustment to the new rulers.
